A self-proclaimed "Rebel without a Clue" or "Trouble without a Cause" (take your pick here), I'm married and the father of five boys. After serving n the United States Navy, my family and I returned to my hometown of St. Louis, MO, where we currently reside.

In my real life, I earn my living as an Unix/Linux Administrator. In addition, I do freelance web design and development..

Although I have always enjoyed writing, the few opportunities that I've had in the past twenty-plus years have been limited to Technical Writing only. Even then, it was only in the discharge of my professional responsibilities and duties, Dissatisfied with (what I perceive as) my creativity being so hampered, I've decided that it's high time to try my hand at writing about those things that I'm interested in. Currently, these things include:

  • History - particularly those events and people either forgotten or glossed over in the recollection of our nations' storytellers and record keepers,
  • Football (American) - I possess a great passion for the game and it's history, along with those players, coaches, and other characters who have made it and continue to make it America's most beloved sport, GO CHIEFS!
  • All Things Geek -- this includes operating systems, applications, as well as all manner of gizmos and gadgets. If one has to wonder how or why when it comes to any of the aforementioned, rest assured I'm interested.

Of course, as is my nature, I respectfully reserve the right to add interests, change interests, and even lose interests depending on my mood.
